Gull Lake SARCAN Closing Temporarily
The Gull Lake SARCAN Recycling depot will relocate to a new location. The depot will close on Friday, October 27th at its current location and reopen across the street at 439 Main Street after construction on that building is completed. Fire Safety Week Focuses on Cooking Safety
Fire Prevention Week takes place from October 8 to 14. This year's Fire Prevention Week theme is "Cooking safety begins with YOU." Unattended cooking is the most common cause of kitchen fires. While frying, boiling, grilling, or broiling food, it is critical to remain in the kitchen. Cooking safely begins with you. Charitable Gaming Grants are Awarded to Local Organizations
During the most recent quarter, charitable gaming grants totaling about $1.36 million were given to more than 800 groups and organisations in Saskatchewan. The SLGA provided charitable gaming funding to several local non-profits. Charitable gaming grants totaled $3,393.85 for Gull Lake clubs and organisations.
