Gull Lake Resident’s Child‑Exploitation Case Adjourned in Swift Current Court

A court matter involving a Gull Lake resident returned to Swift Current Provincial Court on Wednesday morning.
25‑year‑old Tyson Goertz of Gull Lake appeared through counsel, represented by Saskatchewan Legal Aid’s Scott Allen. Goertz faces three charges laid on June 16, after the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Gull Lake:
Possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material
Making available child sexual abuse and exploitation material
Distributing child sexual abuse and exploitation material
Electronic devices were examined and seized during the ICE Unit’s investigation. Goertz was released on conditions following his initial court appearance in June.
His case has now been adjourned to the morning of September 23, when it will return to Swift Current Provincial Court for its next appearance.
