The Grainery Bakery has a new look. In addition to the ramp that was just recently constructed, the Bakery now also features an awning, which contributes to the establishment's fresh and appealing new appearance. The Museum Visitor Centre began the year with a well-attended Canada Day Celebration BBQ. The Monday Ladies Teas, which are always popular, were well attended. The Gull Lake Tourism Committee expanded the Museum this year by adding a Visitor Centre and the Prairie Handmade Gift Shop. The SWT Lyceum Theatre will be renovated to modernise the concession, lobby and lavatory rooms. The 45-year-old facility has served the community well, but it's time to renovate in order to better serve the patrons. The board is soliciting bids from prospective contractors in order to ensure due diligence by obtaining the best pricing for the significant renovation.
