Autumn House Independent Living Facility confirmed today on its Facebook page that its annual BBQ & Bake Sale raised more than $3,500 to benefit resident programs and facility improvements.
Event Snapshot
On Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM, Autumn House transformed its parking lot into a summer gathering spot. For a $10 plate, guests selected a burger or hot dog, a sweet treat and a cold pop. Live music by the Tea and Crumpets Band provided a festive soundtrack, while a 50/50 ticket draw added extra excitement.
Community Partners in Action
The event’s success hinged on generous local support:
Rocky Rents (Swift Current) donated the BBQ unit and pop-up tents for shade.
Richardson Pioneer (Gull Lake) supplied all burger patties and two volunteers to keep the grill running.
Autumn House Closing Remarks
Autumn House concluded its post with heartfelt appreciation: “None of this is possible without amazing community support, so once again THANK YOU!”
