Investing in Comfort. Creating Home.

Autumn House Independent Living has launched the Closer to Home Initiative, a fundraising effort to help modernize and strengthen the facility that has supported seniors in Gull Lake and communities across Southwest Saskatchewan for many years. The goal is to raise $150,000 for upgrades that will improve comfort, safety, and long‑term sustainability.

Autumn House has always been more than a building — it’s a familiar place built on connection and community.

Project Focus

The Closer to Home Initiative will support upgrades that enhance daily living for residents and staff. Planned capital improvements include:

  • New flooring

  • Updated furnishings

  • Refreshed common areas designed to support comfort, mobility, and social connection

“Together, we can make Autumn House an even better place to call home,” the campaign message reads — a reminder that community involvement has always been central to the facility’s success.

Why This Matters

The project supports the people who rely on Autumn House — parents, grandparents, neighbours, and long‑time community members from Gull Lake and the wider southwest region. The Board is asking Gull Lake and surrounding communities to come together in support of the project, noting that every donation, business sponsorship, and share of the campaign helps move the project forward.

How to Support the Campaign

Anyone wishing to support the campaign can contribute directly to the capital project by contacting any member of the Autumn House Board of Directors or by visiting the Gull Lake Town Office. Donations of any size move the project closer to its goal.

Autumn House remains a cornerstone of care in Gull Lake and Southwest Saskatchewan—a place built by the community, sustained by the community, and strengthened through initiatives like this one that keep seniors closer to home.
