People bounce on bungee trampolines at a small-town street fair, with crowds, flags, and sunny autumn trees nearby.

Gull Lake Tourism has been awarded a $20,000 grant through the FCC AgriSpirit Fund. The grant funding will be used to develop a new market space pavilion in Gull Lake.

The project was included in FCC's 2026 AgriSpirit Fund intake, announced on October 21.

This year's intake includes funding for 83 projects in rural communities across Canada, with $1.5 million being distributed through the program.

FCC says AgriSpirit funding supports projects involving community infrastructure, food security, accessibility, recreation, energy efficiency, and emergency services.

The Town of Gull Lake has announced that planning and fundraising efforts for the market space pavilion are beginning. Residents interested in supporting the project financially or assisting with planning can contact Gull Lake Tourism through the Town Office or by email.

Since 2004, FCC says the AgriSpirit Fund has contributed $25.5 million toward 1,861 community projects across Canada.
