This weekend, three local boys, Jamie Kirwan (#11), Tysen Kobley (#28), and Zach Mitchell (#7), will play with the Swift Current 57's in the 13U Western Canadian National Championship. Swift Current is hosting the top 13U teams in Western Canada for the weekend. They will play their first game on Thursday, August 18 at 4pm, and it will be broadcast on Eagle 94.1. The Gull Lake Greyhounds U11 won a Silver Medal today at the 2022 U11 AA Tier 5 Provincials in Shellbrook. The greyhounds advanced to the Gold Medal Game, where they faced off against Shellbrook. The final score of the Gold Medal Game was 7-2 for Shellbrook, and the Greyhounds took home a silver medal. Congratulations on a job well done that has made Gull Lake proud! Gull Lake Events

The Village of Tompkins Fire Hydrant Project has been in the works for awhile. The Village approached the school to see if we would like to paint the hydrants in town and we jumped at the chance. They provided the supplies and we supplied the creativity and artistry. We couldn't be happier with how these turned out!! It always amazes me what our K-5 students can create! These fire hydrants look amazing and the students have all said they will return to town and show their kid

The Board of Directors of the Autumn House Independent Living Facility would like to extend their appreciation to the Last Chance Bar and Grill restaurant for serving as the host of the Autumn House Burger Night event. The assistance and support that the management and staff of Last Chance Bar and Grill provided made it possible for the event to be a success.
