Tompkins Urges Residents to Reduce Water Use
As most of you are aware of the significant leak on Main Street, Please reduce the amount of water you are using in your homes, lawns, and gardens. Only use what you absolutely need to. The start of the repair won't happen until Monday, at which time main street will be closed Monday-Wednesday, with the businesses still open. Thank you for your cooperation! Fire Ban in Effect for Village of Tompkins
A fire ban is in effect immediately in the village of Tompkins. As a result of the current dry conditions, the Village has issued a FIRE BAN . A $250.00 fine will be imposed for any open or enclosed fires within the village limits. Source: Tompkins, Saskatchewan

Gull Lake Greyhounds U11 Bring Home Silver
The Gull Lake Greyhounds U11 won a Silver Medal today at the 2022 U11 AA Tier 5 Provincials in Shellbrook. The greyhounds advanced to the Gold Medal Game, where they faced off against Shellbrook. The final score of the Gold Medal Game was 7-2 for Shellbrook, and the Greyhounds took home a silver medal. Congratulations on a job well done that has made Gull Lake proud! Gull Lake Events

Tompkins Students Paint Hydrants With Creative Colourful Designs.
The Village of Tompkins Fire Hydrant Project has been in the works for awhile. The Village approached the school to see if we would like to paint the hydrants in town and we jumped at the chance. They provided the supplies and we supplied the creativity and artistry. We couldn't be happier with how these turned out!! It always amazes me what our K-5 students can create! These fire hydrants look amazing and the students have all said they will return to town and show their kid

Autumn House Burger Night Fundraiser a Success
The Board of Directors of the Autumn House Independent Living Facility would like to extend their appreciation to the Last Chance Bar and Grill restaurant for serving as the host of the Autumn House Burger Night event. Volunteers Needed to Help Plant Flowers in Towns Green Spaces
Many hands make light work! We are looking for volunteers to help with 2022 flower planting in the green spaces throughout Gull Lake. Each year we plant flowers at the Firehall, Little Green on the Prairie Park, North & South entrances to Gull Lake, hanging baskets on the fence at Last Chance & our big planters that are hung up on poles throughout downtown.
