🎉 Raise the Roof: One Bail at a Time—$10,000 Closer to Carmichael Hall’s Comeback!
Gull Lake’s finest were rounded up, locked down, and bailed out — all in the name of community pride and to help repair the Carmichael Community Hall. Yesterday, the Elks Hall transformed into a Wild West courtroom as costumed sheriffs, deputies, and judges staged mock arrests for a cause close to home. Photo Credit: Carmichael Community Club Inc. From morning until mid‑afternoon, the town came alive with laughter, chili, and a whole lot of “lookin’ the other way.” Spectator

☕ Coffee Row Chronicles“Pipes, Pages, and Pucks”
🚧 Sewer Service Linings Mayor Binder (steady): “Council approved sewer lining from the street right into two homes. Less digging, less mess, fewer headaches.” Mabel (earthy, dry): “About time. No one needs their yard turned into a trench.” Edna (dramatic): “Well, it’s about time council did something sensible. Gull Lake deserves modern solutions, not patche

☕ Coffee Row Chronicles: Medals, Rink Upgrades, and a Fundraiser with Rope
The diner was humming, mugs clinking as the gang settled in. Anthony Huckabay’s medal was the first topic. The driver introduced himself only as “Knobby,” said he was heading for Calgary, and offered them a ride. He was fri

In that video, the theatre, its volunteers, and several local residents are spoken about in ways that are unfair, inaccurate, and unworthy of the place we call home. Gull Lake isn’t perfect—no community is—but we are not a town where people are reduced to insults
