The Gull Lake Town Council approved a $1,500.00 donation to the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Foundation to fund upgrades to the Cypress Regional Hospital's telemetry system. The Telemetry System is a specialized piece of equipment used to monitor patients' vital signs throughout the hospital, in areas such as Medical Surgery and Critical Care.
The foundation established a goal of $150,000 this year to purchase a Telemetry System for Cypress Regional Hospital. The goal was exceeded thanks to the funds raised during the Annual Pharmasave Radiothon, which raised $158,150.
