Council Finalizes Summer Staffing and Approves Equipment Purchase
April 8, 2026 Council Meeting Summary Council addressed financial approvals, correspondence, and seasonal staffing at its April 8 meeting. Gull Lake’s Carter Bleau Selected in 2026 WHL Prospects Draft

His name was the first from southwest Saskatchewan to appear on the draft board this year. Gull Lake Fire Responds to Garden Tractor Fire
A 911 call at 5:37 p.m. alerted emergency responders to a garden tractor fire on the lawn at the north end of the parking area at Autumn House. The garden tractor was cutting the lawn when it caught fire. The unit—the only mower used for groundskeeping—was fully involved when firefighters arrived, but the Gull Lake Fire Department extinguished the fire within minutes.
