Province to Create Saskatchewan Marshals Service
Following its announcement in the Throne Speech, the government of Saskatchewan is creating a new Marshals Service. The SMS will have a complement of roughly seventy officers. Saskatchewan. The Service will assist the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and municipal police forces as needed and have police jurisdiction throughout the province. Gull Lake Campground Installs Communal Fire Pit
The campground now features a communal fire pit, courtesy of the Gull Lake Tourism Board. A campfire is a highlight of the camping experience, and the fire pit at Gull Lake Campground is sure to be a hit with visitors. Visitor Restrictions in Effect at Autumn House Independent Living Facility
The Autumn House Independent Living Facility has experienced a Covid-19 outbreak. At this time, visitors are not permitted inside the facility. All of the supporters have been informed, and anyone with questions is encouraged to contact the administrator, Tayler Hall. Gull Lake RCMP Detachment Hours September to December
The Swift Current Rural RCMP would like to announce that the Gull Lake RCMP Detachment will be open on the following days from 8:00 to 4:00 (closed for lunch): September 21st, October 19th, November 16th, and December 14th. Criminal Record Checks will be available. Also a reminder that calls can be made to the Gull Lake office at 306-672-3140 and if someone is not in the office, it will be transferred through to the Swift Current Rural Detachment with no long distance charge
