The following are the results of the 2024 municipal election in the Village of Tompkins: For Mayor: Ethan WICKSTROM - 50 elected Tom SECORD 44, Spirit COOL. 11 For Councillor (4). Whitecap Winterfest at Gull Lake Draws a Crowd
Gull Lake's Whitecap Winterfest Event drew a good crowd on Saturday and was a lot of fun for everyone who went. The event is made possible thanks to the various organizations and individuals that help plan and deliver the events, as well as Lindsay Aliban, an economic development officer who facilitated in putting it together. Of course, the event would not be possible without the support of its principal sponsor, Whitecap Resourses Inc, whose donation helped fund the event.

CGTW Rec Board Awards $50,000 to Local Organizations
The CGTW (RM of Carmichael, RM of Gull Lake, Tompkins, Webb, and RM Webb) Culture and Recreation Board has today announced the recipients of grant funding dollars totaling $50,000 for the current year. $11,327 of this funding is contributed by the Saskatchewan Lotteries to programming initiatives, which are not capital projects.
