There’s a new name in the regional business scene, and it comes with a familiar face. Local resident Mike Girard has officially launched Southwest Pest Management (SWPM), a pest‑management service based in Gull Lake and serving the greater Southwest.
For Mike, the business is about more than tackling “icky creatures.” It’s about offering a neighbourly service that is discreet, affordable, and built on working directly with customers.
“I want to offer a service that’s not only effective but also accessible,” Mike shared. “When customers are involved in the process, we get results faster and cheaper.”
Mike and his wife are raising their four children in Gull Lake. He enjoys the outdoors—including golfing and fishing—but most of all, he enjoys following his kids through their sports, which include hockey, dance, volleyball, baseball, and softball. Those family experiences shape SWPM’s commitment to flexibility and customer care.
