  • Memorial Service: Friday, November 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.

  • Location: Knox United Church, Gull Lake, Saskatchewan

  • Officiant: Rev. Ken Schrag

  • Interment: Gull Lake Cemetery


Family & Legacy


  • Survived by: Daughter Kim; granddaughter Jessica (Travis); grandson Justice (Teagen); great‑grandchildren Tehya, Kael, Connor, and Austin. Sister Bev (Don) and their family, including Cara, Connie (Kevin), and children Shelton (Kristina), Jaxon, Maisie, Paige, Kade, Brae (Owen), Mya (Cam), and Amera. Extended family through Don’s children Larry (Sharon), Darcy (Tammy), and Debbie (Harvey). Brothers‑in‑law Bruce and Wayne Countryman, sisters‑in‑law Shirley and Stella, and many nieces and nephews.

  • Predeceased by: Parents Walter and Mariette Berreth, husband Neil, daughter Corrine, brother Don, and several sisters and brothers‑in‑law.

  • Community ties: Joyce worked at the Imperial Bank in Piapot, the Pioneer Co‑op in Gull Lake, and the Gull Lake Post Office. She was a member of Knox United Church and the U.C.W., and served on boards including Autumn House Auxiliary, Museum Board, Gull Lake School Board, Chamber of Commerce, Maple Leaf Rebekah Lodge, Home and School Association, and Gull Lake Band Group.

  • Personal legacy: Joyce enjoyed cooking, canning, baking, knitting, crocheting, sewing, word searches, and entertaining. She was known for her hospitality and her steady involvement in community life.
