Main Street Revival Brings Culture Days & Final Market of the Season to Downtown Gull Lake
Community history, local culture, and family fun come together this afternoon as Gull Lake hosts its Main Street Revival event alongside the final market of the 2026 season.
Running from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Main Street, the event is part of the nationwide Culture Days celebration and brings together heritage tours, local vendors, live music, and activities for all ages.
Celebrating Local Culture
Several historic downtown buildings—the Youngberg Block, the Wong Guy Shoe Shop, and the Elk’s Hall—will be open for visitors throughout the market. Each site represents a chapter of Gull Lake’s early commercial and cultural development, and ongoing restoration work aims to preserve these stories for future generations.

A major focus of the day is the ongoing restoration planning for the Youngberg Block, a two‑storey brick landmark being prepared for future revitalization through a property development cooperative. The project continues to welcome community involvement as work progresses on preserving the building and preparing it for future use.
