Local Opportunity: Flat Out Tire Ltd. – Parts Assistant (Immediate Opening)
Flat Out Tire Ltd. is looking to hire a Parts Assistant for immediate start. We offer on-the-job training, competitive pay, benefits, a cell phone allowance, a pension plan, and a friendly, supportive work environment.
Responsibilities include:
Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels, track inventory, and ensure parts are available as needed.
Procurement: Source parts from suppliers, negotiate prices, and manage orders.
Distribution: Efficiently distribute parts to departments or customers.
Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Customer Service: Assist internal and external customers with parts inquiries and orders.
What We’re Looking For:
Technical knowledge of parts and their applications, or willingness to learn
Experience with inventory control systems, or willingness to learn
Negotiation skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Problem-solving abilities
Positive attitude
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet
Enjoyment of hands-on, team-based work
Valid driver’s license
