The Gull Lake Regional Transfer Station is hiring an Attendant to operate the site each Saturday. This role is well‑suited for someone reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently while supporting safe and responsible waste management for the region.


About the Role


The Attendant is responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of the Transfer Station during open hours. Key duties include:


  • Opening and closing the site according to scheduled hours

  • Directing and assisting customers with proper waste disposal

  • Monitoring and sorting materials to ensure correct handling

  • Maintaining accurate records of incoming loads and applicable fees

  • Keeping the site clean, safe, and well‑organized

  • Following all environmental, health, and safety regulations


What We’re Looking For


  • Reliable and punctual

  • Able to work independently

  • Self‑motivated with a positive attitude

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Comfortable interacting with the public
