Autumn House Independent Living Facility — Gull Lake, Saskatchewan

Autumn House is seeking a Manager to support the day‑to‑day and long‑term operations of our personal care home. This role combines administrative leadership with hands‑on oversight of resident care and staff support.

Position Summary

The Autumn House Manager will have experience and proven knowledge in the operation of a personal care home. The Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational needs of staff, and for fostering strong relationships with residents, families, and community partners.

The Manager is accountable for directing and mentoring care staff to ensure resident‑focused care is achieved. Responsibilities include overseeing routine resident care and collaborating with members of our care team—including the Physician, Home Care, Community Paramedic, Emergency Medical Services, and Autumn House staff — on resident care, treatment, and support. The role also includes coordinating ongoing staff education and recertification.

Work Schedule

The position is primarily Monday to Friday; however, because it includes both administrative duties and direct oversight of staff and resident care, flexibility is required. On‑call responsibilities occur as needed. The Manager may be required to respond by phone or in person outside regular hours.

Qualifications

  • LPN training and SALPN licensure in good standing (preferred)

  • Valid BLS (preferred)

  • Clinical experience in a personal care home setting (strong asset)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience in the not‑for‑profit sector (preferred)

  • Operations or administrative experience (preferred)

Wage

Starting at $35.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
