Gull Lake’s Chayce Foster Making Waves at 2025 Canada Summer Games

Local athlete Chayce Foster is set to represent Saskatchewan at the 2025 Canada Summer Games, taking place August 8–25 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Competing in the Special Olympics swimming events, Chayce joins a select group of athletes from southwest

SAskatchewan is headed to the national stage.


Events Chayce Will Compete In:

• 🏊 50-metre freestyle

• 🏊 50-metre backstroke

• 🏊 50-metre breaststroke

• 🏊 100-metre freestyle

• 🏊 100-metre backstroke


Chayce will compete alongside Swift Current swimmers Tate Zimmerman and Rahimay Priebe, forming a strong trio in the Special Olympics category. Their participation highlights the inclusive spirit of the Games and the dedication of athletes across Saskatchewan.


A Broader Southwest Saskatchewan Presence


Chayce is part of a larger contingent from the region, with athletes competing in track and field, soccer, baseball, lacrosse, rugby, and more. Coaches and mission staff from Swift Current, Kyle, Val Marie, Cabri, and Maple Creek will also be contributing to Saskatchewan’s efforts in St. John’s.


As the Games approach, Chayce Foster stands as a proud representative of Gull Lake — ready to make his mark in the pool and bring his best to the national stage.
