Gull Lake Organizations Benefit From Charitable Gaming Grants

The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) is providing $2.2 million in charitable gaming grants to provincial organisations. Gull Lake Charitable Gaming Grants totaled $5,793.81 between January 1, 2022 and March 31, 2022.


In the report titled "Charitable Gaming Grants Paid by Community," four Gull Lake organisations were listed as follows:


Gull Lake & Area Recreation Complex Board $2,664.40

Gull Lake & District Kinettes $501.91

Gull Lake Curling Club $1,627.50

Swift Current U13 AA Bronocs $1,000.00


The quarterly grants are calculated using 25% of the net proceeds raised by groups and organisations. Bingos, raffles, Texas Hold'em poker, and Monte Carlo events are examples of charitable gaming.
