Gull Lake Athletes Shine at Provincial Track & Field Championships

Gull Lake School athletes put on a remarkable performance at the SWAC and SHSAA Provincial Track & Field Championships, demonstrating skill, resilience, and teamwork across multiple events. From medal-winning efforts to personal bests, this year’s competition showcased the true spirit of Gull Lake athletics.


🥈  Silver Medal Winners in Provincial Track & Field


  • Brooklyn Leppa – Silver in Senior Girls Quadrathlon


  • Keegan Jensen – Silver in Junior Boys 400m

  • Gull Lake 4×100m Relay Team – Silver in an extremely close race, with Keegan Jensen kicking things off.

  • Ally Stusrud – Silver in Intermediate Girls Quadrathlon, proving her all-around athletic ability


🥉 Bronze Medal Winners


  • Intermediate Girls 4×100m Relay Team – Bronze, with Ally Stusrud as a key member of the squad.


Standout Performances & Personal Bests


  • Keegan Jensen finished 7th in High Jump, clearing 1.70m—his best-ever result at provincials!

  • Emerson Sommer balanced back-to-back events, sprinting the 200m before running to the Javelin pit, where she launched a personal best of 29.79m in her first round. This was her fourth provincial appearance, wrapping up her high school athletics career on a high note!

  • All Athletes—From sprints to throws and jumps, every Gull Lake competitor gave it their all, setting personal bests, qualifying for finals, and proving their determination.


A huge congratulations to all Gull Lake athletes, their coaches, and the supporters who cheered them on! Their dedication and drive made this an event to remember.
