The Gull Lake Cultural Cooperative has reported new fundraising progress as efforts continue to prepare the historic Main Street building for future restoration. The Cooperative has confirmed that $72,000 has now been invested, bringing the project closer to its $200,000 Phase 1 goal.
This update follows the Cooperative’s January report, which noted $56,018 raised at that time. The new total reflects ongoing community support and continued interest in advancing the project.
Phase 1 Goals
The Cooperative has identified the following priorities for the first stage of work once the investment threshold is met:
Restore power
Restore plumbing and heating
Remove unwanted material
Install new doors and windows
Complete façade restoration
The building remains structurally sound, and Phase 1 will begin once the required funding level is reached.
