Andrew Robertson Brings a New Mural to Gull Lake
A striking new black‑and‑white mural is coming to life on the north wall of Campbell’s Accommodations Fourplex, along Rutland Avenue and 2nd Street—a well‑traveled stretch of Highway 37 as it moves through Gull Lake. New Season, New Discoveries: T. rex Discovery Centre Unveils Major Exhibit Additions for 2026
The T. rex Discovery Centre in Eastend is getting ready to open for the 2026 season on May 16 , and visitors will see several new additions when they walk through the doors. The biggest change is a dramatic new scene built around Scotty — the world’s largest Tyrannosaurus rex — now shown in a dynamic hunting pose. Four Municipalities Unite to Fund X‑Ray Upgrade for Gull Lake Health Centre
Four southwest Saskatchewan municipalities have launched a joint effort to fund a $600,000 X‑ray upgrade for the Gull Lake Health Centre, following a four‑year approval process with the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Gull Lake Fire Responds to Garden Tractor Fire
A 911 call at 5:37 p.m. alerted emergency responders to a garden tractor fire on the lawn at the north end of the parking area at Autumn House. The garden tractor was cutting the lawn when it caught fire. The unit—the only mower used for groundskeeping—was fully involved when firefighters arrived, but the Gull Lake Fire Department extinguished the fire within minutes.
