Changes Coming to Country Ty's Gift Shop
Store will be back open Wednesday March 8th, just in time for International Womens Day! Will have fresh flower bouquets available that day as well as a re-stock of new plants. Announcement on Changes: I am sad but excited at the same time to announce that March will be the last month I will be having the gift part of the store. I am downsizing to focus more on fresh flowers and plants. Although i enjoyed having the gift part, my passion is more flowers and plants and learning

GLAA Recognizes Long-Time Official Tim Jones
At the Greyhound game tonight, GLAA recognized a very deserving, long-time official. Tim Jones has been a Southwest Sask official for many years and has officiated in many communities. Without people like Tim, Minor Hockey in our community and surrounding areas would not be able to exist. Second Local Business Added to Sask Tourism Website
Yesterday the Yellow Canary Books & Stationary was the second local business added to the Saskatchewan Tourism website. If your local business offers Accommodations, Attractions, Entertainment Venues, Food and Drink, or Shopping, I would recommend you consider listing your business on the Tourism Saskatchewan Hub, which is a free listing. Also consider joining the Cypress Hills-Grasslands Destination Area, which does an excellent job promoting tourism in Southwest Saskatchew

Seven Kinettes Headed to TeleMiracle 47
This year we have 7 ladies headed to TeleMiracle 47 on February 25th and we couldn’t be more excited! First off we would like to thank Shop Cat T’s for so graciously offering to donate t-shirts for us to wear during our shifts! GLSC Helping Sarcan Reach 1 Million Container Goal
Gull Lake School Community Council wants to help our local Sarcan reach their goal of 1,000,000 containers recycled in a year by March 31. To do this, we are encouraging anyone who reads this post to collect their empty cans and bottles and either take them down to our local Gull Lake Sarcan or send them to the Gull Lake School and we will take care of getting them down to Sarcan. If you choose to donate the container deposit to the GLSCC, we will be putting the money towards
