The dust has settled and we finally have time to reflect on the Battle of the Southwest. What an amazing night! A huge thank you to everyone involved! Chris Haichert brought out an amazing bunch of curlers from the Swift Current Curling club to challenge us in a variety of disciplines. Last night, GLAA recognized two of our long-standing referees in our community. Blake Barsness and Kent Stenson were presented with gifts of appreciation for all of the countless hours they have given to officiating and the game of hockey in our community and in Southwest Saskatchewan.
