Town Council Approves Transfer Station Subsidy

It's been a year since Dynamic Disposal leased the Transfer Station from Gull Lake. The one-year lease began on January 1, 2022, when Dynamic established the Gull Lake Regional Transfer Station and took over its operations.

The operations of the Transfer Station were examined at the January 11, 2023 Town Council meeting. In order to help offset some of the operational and maintenance costs, it was concluded that Dynamic would require some financial assistance. A motion was made to authorize a monthly subsidy payment of $2,000 to be paid to Dynamic Disposal to assist with expenditures.

The subsidy payments will be made for a one-year period and will be reviewed by council quarterly.
