SWT Lyceum Theatre is Hiring: Theatre Manager

The historic SWT Lyceum Theatre is seeking a dedicated Theatre Manager to oversee daily operations and help carry forward its tradition of movies and community service in Gull Lake.


📌 Position Overview


• Hours: 30 hours per week

• Salary: $31,200 per year

• Probation: 90-day probationary period

• Start Date: Late 2025


🎬 Key Responsibilities


• Coordinate theatre operations, including movie scheduling and event planning

• Lead, train, and schedule staff and volunteers

• Oversee nightly volunteer coordination

• Manage nightly operations, concessions, and customer service (5 nights per week)

• Perform light maintenance and janitorial duties

• Handle bills, payments, and bookkeeping

• Provide monthly treasurer and operational reports to the Board of Directors


✅ Skills & Qualifications


• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Experience in administration, customer service, or event coordination (asset)

• Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software (asset)

• Experience with projection equipment or video playlist software (asset)

• Experience running a non-profit or charity (asset)

• Comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and social media tools

• Passion for film, arts, culture, and community service
