Saskpower Rates Rate Increase Approved

ree

As recommended by the Saskatchewan Rate Review Panel, the provincial government has approved an increase in SaskPower's rates. Energy costs for SaskPower are expected to rise from $715 million in 2020-21 to $1,069 billion in 2023-24 as a result of increased use. Increases in fuel and purchased power costs are primarily the result of rising natural gas prices.

Starting on September 1, 2022, residential customers will see an average increase of $5 on their utility bills as a result of new rates. Visit www.saskpower.com/Accounts/Power-Rates/2022-Rate-Application for more information.
