About the Role
The Sandblaster/Painter is responsible for preparing, cleaning, and refinishing equipment using professional sandblasting and painting techniques. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who is detail‑oriented, safety‑focused, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and adjust sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, or reshape surfaces
Load and manage abrasive materials
Inspect surfaces before and after blasting to ensure quality standards
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
Paint equipment and ensure proper finishing
Required Skills & Qualifications
Grade 12 or equivalent
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and ability to assess surface conditions
Knowledge of sandblasting techniques, abrasive materials, and equipment operation
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Valid driver’s licence
