Pioneer Co‑op is hiring a Casual/Student Branch Clerk I for its Gull Lake location. This role supports day‑to‑day store operations, customer service, and merchandising—a solid fit for students or anyone seeking flexible hours in a busy, community‑focused retail environment.

About the Role

The Branch Clerk I helps keep the store running smoothly across multiple departments. Duties include customer service, stocking, cash handling, and general store upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with sales in all departments

• Operate the cash register and complete cash‑related duties accurately

• Perform ordering and receiving tasks

• Stock shelves and maintain clean, well‑merchandised displays

• Support opening and closing procedures

• Provide gas pump service

• Operate the point‑of‑sale system

• Operate a forklift

• Complete other duties as assigned

What You Bring

• Strong customer service skills and comfort working with the public

• Bondable status

• Ability to perform heavy lifting

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence

• Ability to operate a forklift

• Willingness to work all shifts, including evenings and weekends

• Ability to meet the requirements of a Safety Sensitive position under the employer’s Alcohol & Substance policy
