Rising Vaccination Rates Resulting in Fewer Hospitalizations

Updated: Jan 5, 2022

As immunization rates rise, Saskatchewan's COVID-19 hospitalization rates fall. COVID-19 has hospitalized 80 people since December 28, including 64 inpatients and 16 ICU patients. Currently, no omicron instances necessitate hospitalization in Saskatchewan.

Currently, 83 percent of residents aged five and older have gotten their first COVID-19 immunization, and 76 percent are fully vaccinated, with 277,705 booster/third doses delivered in Saskatchewan.

A Walk-in Vaccination Clinic will be held at the Gull Lake Community Hall on January 4th, from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.
