The Gull Lake Town Council met for its regular session on July 16, 2025, in the Town Council Chambers at 2378 Proton Avenue. Mayor Nasser Zanidean presided, with Councillors Tyson Migneault, Karen Turton, Brandon Wessner, Steve Haithwaite, Terry Stevenson, Neal Boutin, and Administrator Emella Waiser present, confirming a quorum.   • D. Jensen – Dog Park (While the minutes do not detail this correspondence, the Town later shared an online survey on July 28 asking residents if they would use a dog park.)

Key Decisions from the July 16 Gull Lake Town Council Meeting


  • Equipment Purchase – Approved the purchase of a one‑ton foldable crane and a 1,320 lb electric cable hoist for $840 plus taxes to assist staff in safely lifting and moving heavy equipment or items.

  • Safety Management – Approved entering into a one‑year agreement with SiteDocs Paperless Safety Management—an online system that lets staff fill out safety checklists, report hazards, and store safety records on a phone or computer instead of using paper forms, helping the Town meet Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety requirements and its own internal safety policies.

  • Land Sale—Approved the sale of a lot in the Centennial Place subdivision to B. Spagrud for $36,450.

  • Utility Refund—Approved a $1,092 refund to 4672 Price Avenue for an overcharge of sewer services.

  • Building Permit—Approved the building permit application for Kreative Kidz Early Learning Center, subject to conditions in the Municode Services plan examination report.
