Gull Lake’s Levynn Toney Finishes Strong with SHSAA Provincial Silver

Gull Lake has another reason to celebrate this season.

After winning gold at the South Saskatchewan Championship in February and capturing the Rural Regional title in March, Levynn Toney closed out her SHSAA wrestling season with a provincial silver medal in Saskatoon. Competing in the 80 KG category, she delivered a strong performance that reflects the steady work she has put in throughout the year.

Coach Curtis Biem has been in her corner throughout this run — guiding her from early‑season meets all the way to the provincial podium.

For a small school, Levynn’s impact has been extraordinary. Earlier this season, her results alone lifted Gull Lake School to eighth place in the female team standings, a reminder of how one athlete’s dedication can elevate an entire community.

With this latest achievement, Levynn adds a provincial medal to an already outstanding season.
