Gull Lake Lions Host Hanley Sabers in Key Conference Matchup

Gull Lake School is set for a busy sports weekend, with two major events taking place on home turf. The Jr. Girls volleyball team opens their home tournament today, and at 4 PM the Gull Lake Lions welcome the Hanley Sabers for an important early‑season six‑aside football matchup. The game will also be carried live on Country 94.1 FM, bringing regional attention to the Lions’ home field.

The Lions enter the contest at 1–1 after a high‑scoring win over Central Butte on September 18. Hanley also sits at 1–1, leaving both teams tied for third in the Conference 2 standings and adding weight to today’s meeting.
