Gull Lake Invests in Long-Term Water System Improvements

The Town of Gull Lake is undertaking a major upgrade to its aging water infrastructure, with current efforts focused on replacing key valves throughout the system. These valves play a vital role in controlling water flow and isolating specific sections of the network, allowing for more efficient maintenance and minimizing service disruptions.

This phase of work is part of a multi-year modernization plan that will span over a decade. Crews are installing new valves in strategic locations to replace outdated components that have been in place for decades. A precautionary drinking water advisory remains in effect for the east half of Gull Lake, from Price Avenue eastward. Town officials expect resolution efforts to begin shortly, with the advisory likely lifted by the end of next week.
