Gull Lake Ambulance Offering Free Psychological First Aid Training

Gull Lake Ambulance is inviting residents to take part in a Canadian Red Cross Psychological First Aid course, which is being offered free of charge at this time. The training is designed to help people strengthen resilience and support emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing — both in everyday life and during periods of stress, loss, or trauma.
An instructor from Moose Jaw, with years of experience, will be leading the session. The course is delivered in a blended format, meaning participants complete an online portion before attending the in‑person class. During the training, participants will work through the Red Cross Look, Listen, Link, Live model, a straightforward framework that helps people care for themselves and offer support to others when situations become difficult.
The course is open to all ages and groups, including youth, workplace teams, caregivers, and responders. Those who finish the program will receive a three‑year certification in Psychological First Aid.
Registration: 📧 Email glemstraining@gmail.com for details or to reserve a spot.
