Every year the Gull Lake Tourism Committee with the help of businesses, organizations, and individuals transform the campground into "Christmas Cove." Christmas Cove has a number of long-time supporters who faithfully decorate the Cove every year, and it also sees new entries. This year through the month of December I will feature the decorated sites on Gull Lake Events.
This year the Cove has a new entry decorated by SWT. The SWT inland grain terminal is located approximately 10KM east of Gull Lake. SWT is a major employer of the Gull Lake Area and a strong supporter of the community. If you are out and about or travelling through Gull Lake be sure to stop in and check out the SWT Christmas display at the Gull Lake Campground.
There has been quite a bit of decorating going on in the Cove this past week and there is still time for you to decorate a site. There is no need to book a site, just choose an empty one and decorate. The cost is $20/site to help cover power costs, payable to Gull Lake Campground. Payment can be made at Town of Gull Lake office.
