Charitable Gaming Grants are Awarded to Local Organizations

During the most recent quarter, charitable gaming grants totaling about $1.36 million were given to more than 800 groups and organisations in Saskatchewan. The SLGA provided charitable gaming funding to several local non-profits.


Charitable gaming grants totaled $3,393.85 for Gull Lake clubs and organisations. The grants were given to the local organisations listed below:


  • Gull Lake & District Kinettes $625.00

  • Gull Lake Athletics Association - Midget Cyclones $416.50

  • Gull Lake Athletics Association Atom - Bradford Team $296.13

  • Gull Lake Athletics Association Atom - Kirwan Team $268.25

  • Gull Lake Curling Club $1,397.50

  • Gull Lake Skating Club $390.47

The grants are based on a proportion of the net proceeds from authorised charitable gaming activities like as bingo, raffles, breakopen tickets, Texas Hold'em poker, and Monte Carlo events.
