Gull Lake and Region Workshop With Doug Griffiths

Doug the founder of 13 Ways believes communities are worth saving, which is why he has dedicated the last 20 years of his life to helping them find a pathway to success. Town Council Approves 2022 Street Repairs
A motion was made during the October 12, 2022, council meeting to approve a quotation for $98,014.75 plus taxes from Mobile Paving for street repairs. A number of street repairs were completed, including those on Roger Aldag Avenue, 6th Street, and Price Avenue. Town of Gull Lake Flushing Fire Hydrants Next Week
The Town of Gull Lake Waterworks will be flushing fire hydrants September 19th through the 23rd. Residents may experience periodic interruptions in water supply and may notice a discoloration of water due to the unsettling of sediment within the water mains during the flushing process. This discoloration is not harmful for consumption but may affect the washing of clothes, particularly whites. This discoloration can be alleviated by leaving a tap running for a short period

Garbage/Recycling Tote Bylaw to be Enforced
A reminder to residents that garbage and recycling totes are NOT to be left in the alley. Bylaw No. 5-2016 states "once a tote has been emptied, it must be returned to a storage location on the property within 24 hours and not left at the alley. Totes left in the alley for a period exceeding 24 hours are subject to a fine of $100.00 for the first offence, $200.00 for the second offence, and $300.00 for the third or subsequent offence". Gull Lake Honours Grads With Downtown Banners
This year, the Town of Gull Lake is honouring its 18 graduates by displaying vinyl banners recognizing each graduate on power poles throughout downtown. The Town Council authorized the hanging of street banners on downtown power poles earlier this year. Each banner features the portrait and name of an individual student on both sides. They are a great way for communities to recognize their high school graduates and are gaining popularity in communities. Congratulations to all
