Garbage/Recycling Tote Bylaw to be Enforced

A reminder to residents that garbage and recycling totes are NOT to be left in the alley.  Bylaw No. 5-2016 states "once a tote has been emptied, it must be returned to a storage location on the property within 24 hours and not left at the alley.  Totes left in the alley for a period exceeding 24 hours are subject to a fine of $100.00 for the first offence, $200.00 for the second offence, and $300.00 for the third or subsequent offence".  

Our Bylaw Enforcement Officer will be enforcing this bylaw, so please ensure totes are removed within 24 hours of pick up day!
