RCMP Requesting Public's Assistance
Swift Current Rural RCMP is requesting the public's assistance regarding an incident early this morning. A Gull Lake (Chinook School Division) van was stolen from the school parking lot at 12:30 a.m. & later recovered south of Gull Lake. 121 Risky Behaviour Infractions Found in CAA School Zone Safety Assessment
CAA completed a School Zone Safety Assessment at Gull Lake Public School on November 16th, 2022. There were three The Town of Gull Lake and the RCMP from the Swift Current Rural Detachment worked together on-site to track risky behaviour for motorists and pedestrians in the school zone. Sask Launches New Highway Hotline App
Saskatchewan's Highway Hotline has released a new version of their app, which contains several improvements. The software now has improved graphics and new features, such as a route-planning feature that includes road conditions. Users can get a free smartphone app by downloading it. TIPP Line Helps Conservation Officers Protect Resources and Environment
Nearly 1,800 calls were made to the 24-hour, anonymous TIPP line in the province in 2021, leading to fines of over $80,000. The Turn In Poachers and Polluters (TIPP) line is a toll-free number you can call to assist conservation officers in protecting Saskatchewan's natural resources and environment.
