Remaining Public Health Orders to be Lifted Sunday End of Day
At the conclusion of the day on Sunday, February 27, all remaining public health orders in Saskatchewan, including the necessity to wear protective masks in designated indoor public venues, will be lifted. Residents are free to continue wearing masks in any setting they consider necessary. COVID-19 Self-Isolation, Close Contact Protocols Change January 28, 2022
Saskatchewan residents who receive a positive PCR or rapid antigen test result will be required to self-isolate for five days from the date of the test or 24 hours after fever has resolved without the use of fever-reducing medications and all other symptoms have improved for at least 48 hours, whichever is later, regardless of vaccination status, beginning Friday, January 28, 2022. Saskatchewan residents are being asked to use rapid antigen testing kits to monitor for COVID-19. Residents who receive a positive rapid antigen test or confirmatory PCR test will be required to self-isolate for five days, down from ten. Oscar the Grouch Abducted From His Home in Christmas Cove
Christmas Cove is a preferred getaway of Oscar the Grouch, who spends his annual winter vacation in the Gull Lake Campground in the month of December. Oscar was kidnapped from his winter home on Saturday by an unknown assailant. Oscar was fortunate in that he was able to flee from his captors, and it is hoped that he will be able to return home in the not too distant future. SHA Implementing Proof of Vaccination Policy in all Facilities
Beginning November 8, 2021, the Saskatchewan Health Authority announced that proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination will be required for admission to all SHA acute care facilities and Long Term Care (LTC) homes.
