Tompkins Urges Residents to Reduce Water Use
As most of you are aware of the significant leak on Main Street, Please reduce the amount of water you are using in your homes, lawns, and gardens. Only use what you absolutely need to. The start of the repair won't happen until Monday, at which time main street will be closed Monday-Wednesday, with the businesses still open. Thank you for your cooperation! Fire Ban in Effect for Village of Tompkins

Local Couple Opening New Business in Gull Lake
By now, you may have heard some rumours about us. And we are here to tell you that they are true! We (Hannah and Cole) have bought 1365 Conrad Ave. in downtown Gull Lake, and we will soon be transforming it into a bookstore! Yellow Canary Books & Stationery is planning on opening its doors in October 2022. It will stock all genres of books, as well as stationery, office supplies, and small home décor items. Tompkins Students Paint Hydrants With Creative Colourful Designs.
The Village of Tompkins Fire Hydrant Project has been in the works for awhile. The Village approached the school to see if we would like to paint the hydrants in town and we jumped at the chance. They provided the supplies and we supplied the creativity and artistry. We couldn't be happier with how these turned out!! It always amazes me what our K-5 students can create! These fire hydrants look amazing and the students have all said they will return to town and show their kid
