At the Greyhound game tonight, GLAA recognized a very deserving, long-time official. Tim Jones has been a Southwest Sask official for many years and has officiated in many communities. Without people like Tim, Minor Hockey in our community and surrounding areas would not be able to exist. The dust has settled and we finally have time to reflect on the Battle of the Southwest. What an amazing night! A huge thank you to everyone involved! Chris Haichert brought out an amazing bunch of curlers from the Swift Current Curling club to challenge us in a variety of disciplines.
