Wow, what a weekend! There were a lot of GREAT costumes on Friday night, but the ultimate winners were the disco balls! Thank you to all of our sponsors, Shelley Bryant for making sure we were always fed well, and Kevin Bancroft for keeping the ice perfect all weekend long! GLAA Recognizes Long-Time Official Tim Jones
At the Greyhound game tonight, GLAA recognized a very deserving, long-time official. Tim Jones has been a Southwest Sask official for many years and has officiated in many communities. Without people like Tim, Minor Hockey in our community and surrounding areas would not be able to exist. Gull Lake Claims Victory 2nd Annual Battle of the Southwest!
The dust has settled and we finally have time to reflect on the Battle of the Southwest. What an amazing night! A huge thank you to everyone involved! Chris Haichert brought out an amazing bunch of curlers from the Swift Current Curling club to challenge us in a variety of disciplines. After a very fun night of Mens, Ladies, Senior men’s, Senior Ladies, Mixed, Mixed doubles and 2 person stick curling. Gull Lake is claiming victory in the 2nd annual Battle of the Southwest! N

Tyler Lamarre Brings Home Gold and Silver
Congratulations to Tyler Lamarre and his coach, Bruce Martin. GLAA Recognizes Two Long-Standing Referees
Last night, GLAA recognized two of our long-standing referees in our community. Blake Barsness and Kent Stenson were presented with gifts of appreciation for all of the countless hours they have given to officiating and the game of hockey in our community and in Southwest Saskatchewan. RCMP Lay Charges Connected to 2025 Gull Lake Break‑In
The RCMP have concluded a significant investigation involving several communities in southern Saskatchewan. A 42‑year‑old man from Tompkins is facing multiple charges after a series of incidents across the region.
