Non-profit Organizations in Gull Lake Receive Over $3,800 in Charitable Gaming Grants
During the most recent quarter, charity gaming grants of about $1.16 million were distributed to over 750 Saskatchewan charities and organizations. Several community organizations were beneficiaries of the SLGA's charitable gaming funding. The charitable gaming grants totaled $3,836.52 for Gull Lake clubs and organizations. Public Meeting to Discuss the Future of Autumn House
The Autumn House Independent Living Facility will have a public meeting on January 17, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Hall to discuss the facility's future. Autumn House is fully certified by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health. It is a community-owned, non-profit organization with a volunteer board committed to providing safe, affordable housing for seniors in Gull Lake and the surrounding areas. On October 21, 2023, the Tompkins Country Carnival and Halloween Dance raised $9,280.00, which was split evenly between the Waterplant and the Library.
