Raising $15,000 for a Great Cause: The Success of the Gull Lake Autumn House Fundraiser

Updated: Feb 9

Entrance to building labeled Autumn House with glass doors and sign reading Care, Comfort, Community. Brick and metal exterior, gray sky.

The Gull Lake Community Hall recently hosted the Autumn House Fundraiser, a sold-out event that brought the community together to support a great cause. The event raised an incredible $15,000 to repair the air conditioning system at the Autumn House Independent Living Facility.

The evening's highlight was a riveting performance by Canadian country artist Tim Hus, best known for his "Canadiana Cowboy Music." A successful live auction led by John Baier helped reach $15,000. Attendees also enjoyed a great supper supplied by Louie D's, which contributed to the event's overall success.

This fundraiser demonstrated the community spirit and enthusiasm of everyone involved. The organizers expressed sincere thanks to everyone who participated for their generous support.

Stay tuned for more community events and initiatives as we continue to support and encourage one another in Gull Lake!
