Tompkins Water Plant Fundraiser Received Amazing Support

Gull Lake's First Market Wednesday May 18th
Gull Lake's first market of the year begins off with a variety of vendors, axe throwing, and a fundraiser hosted by the United Church of Gull Lake at the Elks Hall to benefit the Ukrainian people! Finish the day with a burger at Last Chance Bar and Grill to support the Economic Development Committee - a portion of the proceeds from each meal sold will be used to promote Gull Lake, Markets, and Development Initiatives! Oscar the Grouch Abducted From His Home in Christmas Cove
Christmas Cove is a preferred getaway of Oscar the Grouch, who spends his annual winter vacation in the Gull Lake Campground in the month of December. Oscar was kidnapped from his winter home on Saturday by an unknown assailant. Oscar was fortunate in that he was able to flee from his captors, and it is hoped that he will be able to return home in the not too distant future.
