On October 21, 2023, the Tompkins Country Carnival and Halloween Dance raised $9,280.00, which was split evenly between the Waterplant and the Library. The Village Council expressed the following thanks to everyone who contributed to the event's success.
The Village of Tompkins Mayor, Council, staff, Tompkins Library Board, and residents would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the DJ, Tompkins Legion, businesses, individuals, and organizations for the many monetary donations, Tombola prizes, auction items, food donations, and to everyone that attended or supported the successful and inspiring fundraising event for the Water Plant Upgrade and library operating costs. THANK YOU to the DJ from Surround Sound Music for providing the awesome music! Thank you to the Village of Tompkins Council and the Tompkins Library Board for organizing this wonderful event! We raised $4640.00 for the Waterplant and $4640.00 for the Library.
