The provincial minimum wage will increase from $11.81 to $13.00 per hour on October 1, 2022. Minimum wage will grow to $14 per hour on October 1, 2023, then to $15 per hour on October 1, 2024.
The indexation formula used to calculate the minimum wage gives equal weight to changes in the Consumer Price Index and Saskatchewan's Average Hourly Wage. The increase in the minimum wage for this year, as well as 2023 and 2024, represents a commitment to more closely link workers' salaries with changing market dynamics.
